January 1-3: Annual International Motorcycle Show at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle.

February 6: An Aloha party for Terry Powell at the Kelley's. WetLeather pays personal tribute to the two-time gather BOSS and all around great guy before he heads off to the dreaded isles. Beer, munchies and limited crash space provided. Feel free to bring your favorite intoxicant.
February 27: Housewarming/Garage Signing Party (no work involved) at Rachel Herold's -- 14909 123rd Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034 (425) 402-1019. Dogs are welcome but there is no enclosed yard. Children are welcome but the house is not childproof - so watch them : ) Lots of garage space for parking and off street parking when that fills up. Plenty of crash space on the floor (I have no real furniture yet). Beer and sodas provided, haven't decided what to make in the way of food yet, so if you want something particular, bring it.
February 27: Shakin' the Winter Blues Party, Sky Valley Chapter, ABATE of WA. Dinner 5 - 10pm, Music 8:30 - 12:30. March 6-7: The reprise of Havoc's Motorcycle Video Marathon, Feed and Soak for Satyrday March 6th, with overflow to Sunday March 7th, Daytona 200 weekend! RSVP requested so I can calculate the beer requirements! Crash space available, reserve early! Bring: Food to share - (BBQ will be available), Beverage of choice, Moto or otherwise videos, and a towel for hot tubbing! Party starts when the first person arrives, ends when the last leaves! May 14-15: Doe Bay Mini-Gather. Held at the former hippie communie, Doe Bay Village Resort, on Orcas Island. A short ferry ride out of Anachortes, a nice ride around Orcas, through East Sound, the town of Olga, to the end of the road, and Doe Bay. Hot tubs, sauna, kayaking, camping, Yurts (wotsa yurt?), the treehouse, and the beach. There are differing types of accomidations. The cafe should be open, though the kitchen is always open. May 16: 3rd Annual Old Snohomish Antique & Classic Motorcycle Show, presented by Sky Valley Chapter, ABATE of WA. 9am - 4pm. On First Street in downtown Snohomish. May 29: Chez Havoc Open House - If you're not doing anything amazing Memorial Day weekend, come down to lovely Tacoma this Satyrday and hoist a brew, BBQ some hapless animal and soak in the hot tub...all the usual applies, bring food to share and beverage of choice, or just show up bringing nothing but good will! No dogs, (sorry), children ok if they are trained to be off the leash. (Special consideration given to Pokemon trainers...) Directions by request - carcosa@eskimo.com - Party starts when someone shows up, ends when the last leaves. Crash space plentiful, bring a bedroll if staying overnite.

June 5: Chase The Snake (aka "CTS") — Ride the backroads of the Palouse and check out the crossings of the Lower Snake River. If you choose to ride over each bridge and dam between Clarkston the Tri-Cities it's a 400+ mile day. -or- you can just ride the in the Idaho Panhandle. June 27: The Reno 200. The planned route is about 400 miles total. Day 1 will be a trip around Lake Tahoe on logging roads. Day 2 a romp on dirt roads through the Nevada desert. September 10-12: ACE DAY 1999 - Continental Run - Ace Cafe Reunion Camping Weekend - Cafe Racers, Streetfighters, Custom bikes - All Riders Welcome! Starting with the Continental Run from Cafe Hubraum, Solingen, Germany, to Shoreham Airfield and Madeira Drive in Brighton, UK. Live music (Meteors, The Damned, and more great bands), special attractions and guests, RAF Flypast, big camping site with toilets and showers. September 19: FIM World Championship Road Racing Series, Round 13, Valencia, Spain
September 26: FIM World Superbike Series Round 12, TBA
September 26: Oyster Run. This annual event will start from Marysville, Washington at 11:00 and progress north to Clear Lake. From there the party goes west to Anacortes for an afternoon of cycle influenced fun. Events in Anacortes include: all of downtown blocked off for motorcycle only access, cycle drill teams, food booths and merchandise booths. 1997 attendance was 5,000-7,000 cycles. This is mainly a Harley event, but all makes/models are welcome.

October 23: Wetleather's Seventh Annual cookoff. This year's categories are seafood, anchovies, and Scandinavian, plus Real Food, desserts with and desserts without chocolate, and Best Costume. De Judge's decisions are final and absolute, and remember that bribery is an obligation, not a privilege.

November 13-14: Moto-Video Marathon Feed and Soak at Chez Havoc! Bring moto or otherwise videos, especially this year's Speedvision GP and World Superbike events as we are very deficient in this dept! Also, bring potluck food to share, beverage of choice, and a towel for the hot tub! Pokemon trainers bring your GB and we will battle! As ever, party starts whenever the first shows up, ends when the last leaves. Hardy souls that stay over get treated to Havoc's Sunday Brunch! Plentiful crash space. December 3-5: Annual International Motorcycle (aka Cycle World) Show at the new stadium (near the old Kingdome) which was partially paid for by the tax dollars of Washingtonians from the Dry Side who don't even get to use the damn thing and no we aren't bitter why do you ask?
December 4: Pasta Veloce, a WetLeather dinner at the Jenning's, following the Cycle World show. Fine Dining begins at 6:00 PM. The **only** way to get a reservation is to send the following items to Your Finance Minister.

A note stating the names of the parties who will be attending the dinner.
A check made out to Shannon Kelley, for $12 for each adult whose name appears in that note.
