About PantaHeads

The PantaHeads mailing list is a collection of unique individuals
who mostly share a penchant for two wheeled locomotion as
exemplified by the belt driven cam drive engines (Pantah
series through Alazurra) built by Dr. Taglioni for Ducati
motorcyles. Other Ducatis of that same era besides the bevel drive
family such as the parallel twins and even the two strokes are also
fair game. These OddDucs are welcome to join as well. For those
people who wish more information on the bevel drive Ducatis, there
is already the Bevelhead list, where both the idea for this list
was spawned as well as the PantaHeads and OddDucs names generated.
Anyone interested in these motorcycles is welcome to subscribe to
PantaHeads. The list is intended for socializing as well as free
interchange on ways and means of doing tech projects, obtaining
parts and manuals. In general interchange notes would be expected
to be polite communications which contain content relating to the
PantaHeads and OddDucs topics alluded to above.

Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.

Who pays for it?

The facilities and service for this and several other motorcycle mailing lists are provided by micapeak.com.
H. Marc Lewis (marcl at micapeak.com) owns and operates the micapeak.com domain and pays all the associated costs: buying the hardware and software, maintaining it, and paying all the necessary fees to keep it connected to the Internet. He does this as a hobby -- micapeak.com is definitely a non-profit deal. Once a year (Jan/Feb) he solicits donations to help with the ongoing costs.
