About GCRA

The GCRA mailing list is a forum for riders in the Gulf Coast area to communicate and meet with other riders in the area.
This is not a club, there are no dues and there are no officers.

Subscribers are encouraged to discuss items mostly of a motorcycle related nature and to post ride reports and any rides they are going to make, however short or long of notice and a time and place to meet, if they would like the company of others.

Featured topics include: Sport and Sport-Touring Motorcycles, rides, restaurant recommendations, places to sleep, riding partners, sleeping partners, places to ride, beer recommendations, parties, panties, pasties,pastries, patsies and weather.

Anyone is welcome to subscribe.
The list is not moderated, and is intended for socializing. This forum assumes and accepts no responsibilities for the actions of subscribers. Conflicts between subscribers, conducted off of the list, is of no concern of the list and is considered the business of the subscribers. All Subscribers are asked to maintain a civilized decorum.

Who pays for it?

The facilities and service for this and several other motorcycle mailing lists are provided by micapeak.com.
H. Marc Lewis (marcl at micapeak.com) owns and operates the micapeak.com domain and pays all the associated costs: buying the hardware and software, maintaining it, and paying all the necessary fees to keep it connected to the Internet. He does this as a hobby -- micapeak.com is definitely a non-profit deal. Once a year (Jan/Feb) he solicits donations to help with the ongoing costs.
