About Yamahafj

The list is international in scope, with current and past members from the U.S., Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain Turkey, the UK, and other countries. The primary purpose of the list is to serve as a means to exchange information about, get technical help for, and brag about, Yamaha FJ1100 and FJ1200 motorcycles. Although the primary focus of the list is the FJ 1100 and 1200, other motorcycle-related, and general interest topics are allowed, (or in some cases, tolerated.) Anyone is welcome to subscribe, and are encouraged to participate in whatever threads that may comprise the fabric of the list. The list is not moderated, and relies on the principal that if a topic is not list-appropriate, the list membership will decide this by their indifference. Due to recent problems with some subscribers who use AOL as their email access service, this list has adopted the policy that AOL subscribers will be notified, and can be removed from the list, if problems assumed to be associated with individual AOL accounts continue. In such cases, individuals are advised to contact AOL and correct the problem, or subscribe via another (non-AOL) email access service. New members who currently use AOL are welcome to subscribe, but are warned that list membership may be terminated, at any time, if an AOL-based problem develops. The primary list language is English.

H. Marc Lewis (marcl at micapeak.com) owns and operates the micapeak.com domain and pays all the associated costs: buying the hardware and software, maintaining it, and paying all the necessary fees to keep it connected to the Internet.
