I came to the same conclusion with the ZX11 swingarm. The pivot needs to be
machined to make it fit. However, when I weighed the aluminum ZX11 swingarm
and compared it to the steel GPZ swingarm, the ZX11 swingarm actually
weighed more! That is why I chose to fit just the ZX11 rear wheel to the
stock GPZ swingarm. The 5 1/2" wide wheel is all I really wanted anyway. As
for fitting a ZX11 front end, they are still old technology damper rod
forks, not really an improvement over the GPZ forks for a lot of work and
money. Graft on some cartridge forks at a minimum or some USD forks to make
it worth the effort.
