Top triple-clamps on the cheap?

No.  I'm talking about a specific industrial application for which new bolts 
are far cheaper than the results of failed bolts.  If Saab tells me I 
shouldn't re-use the self locking nuts for the front hubs of my car, I'd be 
wise to not re-use them.  Kawi doesn't recommend any of the replacements you 
list, so why should I?

But torquing to spec is vital for survival of any connector that sees a 
cyclic load.  I guess that was my point. ;-)
