Looks like you had an awesome trip on great roads. I was within 1.5 hrs of
there in summer but it rained every day. The pics made my partner homesick
especially the one of the plate of schnitzel.

Hello list,

Some of the European GPZ'ers including one from this list have 
participated in the 2. Alpentreffen (Alp meeting) arranged by a couple 
of GPZ'er from Bavaria (Germany). The meeting took place from the 29th 
of September to the 2nd of October in Trostberg, Bavaria. Although 
outnumbered by other types (we were only 7 GPZ's) the meeting was a huge 
success. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday we travelled a total of 
approximately 800 km's (500 miles), partly in Bavaria and partly in 
Austria in the most wonderful terrain and in the most beautiful weather.

PS: The temporary fix I made to the cracked oil pan held beautifully. No 
trace of oil.

@ Steve: Thanks for the tip about the ZRX oil pan on the German ebay. 
I've been away for the last couple of weeks and didn't have any 
opportunity to look at it. I'll find one eventually.
