Oh the embarrassment, I can't keep her going at the light.

So I go out to start up Katya (Cot-E-ah) (my wife named her that since I have said if we have a girl someday that would be her name and she thinks this will stop that from happening) for the second time in about 6 months, and she idles crazy. It was doing this before, but it was like 34 degrees as a high and about 15 for a low (F). I didn't care if it was a high idle, I was just trying to get somewhere. Anyhow, I messed around with the knob by the carbs on the left side, and either it would go to 3000 rpm and sit there, or just a little back, and it would die. Does this mean I need a valve adjustment. I will not disclose at this time the last time it was done, to avoid ridicule. Oh, who cares, I have never done it. It has 21K miles on it and the guy I bought it from had it done I am guessing around 8K, right before I bought it. I did Seafoam last fall and it didn't hurt, but I don't think it made a big difference. It runs fine going along, but its embarrassing at lights to have to restart...restart...restart.

Thanks in advance.
