fork bushings?

What does the coating look like? IIRC the bushings (at least the ones
on the upper fork tube) on my bike just looked bronze... so if they
were coated I must assume mine have worn off. I wish I'd known that
when I placed my last ronayers order... now I'll have to wait another
2 weeks. rrg

Has anyone else taken a good look at the bushings and noticed a
coating or the lack thereof?
