Do you have a rear rack at all?
If you do then you could probably adapt a backrest for another bike with a simple mount.
If all happens right then I may have a used givi rack for you - you have 1st dibs, I should know in about a week.
I agree about the Corbin - seat too hard and backrest too expensive

I've gone back and forth and back and forth on the topcase
mount/backrest/luggage thing, bought a 5-star rack from someone here,
re-sold it to someone here, considered a Givi mount, etc....
Anyway since I sold the ZZR1200 with the topcase mount/Givi 3-case setup I
rediscovered my need to have at least a backrest (if not a topcase) on the
GPz for when I take my kids on rides. What are my options? (I know about the
Corbin seat/backrest but my butt abhors Corbin seats).
