+1 on the Nuvi. I just have mine mounted in the tanks bag map pocket and don't bother with the sound. Not perfect when you have gloves thru the map pocket but good enough for the $400 saved over the Zumo.

Get yourself an inexpensive Garmin Nuvi (under $200) with the big screen. I
have a 250W. Then get the RAM mount that fits your bike / GPS. My Nuvi has
been rained on, dropped etc. No problems, switches easily between the car
and bike cradles.
