givi bag mounts

Hey Dave.

When I installed the Givi's on my GPz the stock turn signals had to go (as
you know).

The Givi Wing Rack has the turn signals mounted on it (see photo) but they
are a "bolt on to the Wing Rack) so previous owner may have removed them, or
where never purchased?

I also installed additional turn signals on the back of the bike with the
intent of having signals when I took the Givi Bags and rack off (never did,
like the convenience of "lock and leave it" too much). See the second
photo..

I checked my records and found the original assist I used in 2000 when I
mounted them, see the bottom of the page for a photo journal of the install
process..

The one major lesson I learned about installing the Givi's (I used to take
them off each fall to get access to the battery for winterization) is to
install it with the nuts/bolts only finger tight.
When fully assembled go back and tighten everything otherwise you more times
than not end up not being able to get the last bolt in as it won't line
up!..

I have included the detail sheets that came with the racks (I used the
WingRack 2).

Let me know if you have any other questions or if these photos don't travel
well and I can send them directly to you..
Cheers..

No, just two side bags.

the stock turn signals have to come off to mount the racks.
the instructions were rather vague about turn signals.
does the Euro Gpz have different stock rear turn signal mount than N.Am?

anyway, maybe those zoot LED 'pucks' would work?

My GiVi rack had turn signals built right into them. I'll try to include a
picture of what mine looked like. Do you have a Wingrack?

Anybody (Scaps?) have a suggestion for rear turn signal mounting with givi
saddle bags?

Stock position no wooky.
