Brake light sticking

Hey Ralph

I always just "cheated" on this and used a spray grease product like MoovIT (small straw applicator like WD-40) wiggled the brake pedal while squirting it in and wiped up any excess and never disassembled for a full grease application as this always did the trick and lasted for 1 - 2 seasons before needing it again..

Yeah that's what it is Paul.  The pivot point. I have to disassemble it all and lube it. I don't remember the procedure though.  It's been a while since mine was sticking.

Are you sure it is the switch that is the problem or the brake pedal not fully returning?
I remember this being a thread discussion and I had to lubricate the pivot point on the brake pedal a few times as with use and water (rain and cleaning) it would dry out, get sticky and leave the brake light on..

It’s the rear switch. I've been through this before. I don’t remember what the disassembly is of all this though to get to it.
