          Yep the rear line and the one up by the sender, the randomness is what is driving me nuts, you change a fuel filter or petcock or blow out some lines and it runs ok for a day or two or a month and just when you are confident with it again you find yourself pulling over on the shoulder.

Hey Mike,

Just a thought, but have you checked the hoses at the rear of the tank?
That one (or three if you have a Kalifornia model) has to be clear and kink
free or you can run into issues as well.
