The helmet speakers I'm using were made by Radio Sound. They came with a
tiny bracket that clamps onto the edge of the helmet to hold the jack, so
you don't have any wires hanging out of the helmet when you're not using the
speakers. Also I can pop a tiny creative zen nano player right onto the
jack and not have to deal with wires at all. The audio is acceptable but
not as good as earbuds, but I prefer the convenience of the speakers. You
can wear earplugs and still hear the audio pretty good, much to my surprise
when I first tried it.
BTW there are only 100-150W of extra power available on the SV at cruising
RPM, less in traffic. The SVS has the extra headlight to consider. My
naked SV is pretty much maxed out with a 100W heated liner on full and
heated grips on high (36W). Using that extra up with accessories actually
takes some strain off your reg/rec, heat wise.
I keep my A750 angle adjusted as far as it goes, it helps a little but not
much. The noise on the A750 actually comes from the narrow sides and the
way the wind whips back around it according to Givi. A well placed hand on
the side at speed confirms this. I called them and complained when I first
got it about 5 years ago :)
