Fork bushings

Questions for Zoran:

I'm about to service my forks and I thought this time I'd replace the bushings 
(I have a bit of stiction).

I have two sets of crash-destroyed forks with bushings that look new and I was 
thinking of using them.*

If they look good and their thickness is the same as new, any reason I shouldn't 
use them?

Ummm, which raises the question: what *is* the thickness of new bushings?

Question #2: do you (or any other lister) have some newish OEM brake pads (F & 
R) you want to get rid of?
