I find that one of the most accurate means of checking your speedometer is to pass a radar cop, give him/her the universal signal of oneness and you will be told, after a brief but brisk run, just how fast you were going..and, you will have it on paper. I do not recommend using this technique often as it tends to put a limit on your riding time. dm
