Dwell Time

My current motor has a stroker crank in it and the guy who built it
used shorter rods

rather than using a spacer plate (crank has 68mm stroke vs stock
62.6mm). I'm curious

as to what the pros and cons are of the different methods. I can
understand the idea of

less dwell time with the shorter rods, but does this really affect
power? Are we talking

about tenths of a horsepower less by using the short rods instead of
the long rods or is

	it more?
