Fuel leaks from rear carb air-vent hose (mostly at idle)

I had the same problem at the track last year and it was an o-ring failure.  Replaced the o-ring on the valve seat and the leak stopped.

No expert by any measure, but the symptoms sounds very similar to when I had
a stuck float bowl valve on the old Buell.

Could possibly be a punctured float as well.
