If you try and do 3 mm with stock head gaskets, if you go too far you'll
have water leaks going into the Combustion chamber, if you don't go far
enough you'll have hot spots with the thin edge of the gasket. That will act
like a glow plug on the 2 stroke airplane engine and you may get some
predetonation. Neither are good. I would look hard at the Cometics, May save
a lot of heartache. Who's pistons are you using?
