Cam Timing Problems

I checked the cam timing on a stock 2005 and got 106/101 @ 40thou. I
then put a set of Megacycle Stage 2 cams in but came up with some really
wacky numbers even though everything looks right. I got:

Intake measured @ 40thou lift
Open 102 BTDC
Close 316 ABDC

Exhaust measured @ 40thou lift 
Open 122 BBDC
Close 280 ATDC

Any ideas where I screwed up? I just used the formula,
(open + close + 180)/2 - the small number = lobe center

Instead of adding the extra 180 should I just add the two intake numbers
together/2 and - 102?

102 + 316 = 418/2 = 209 - 102 = 107

For the exhaust should not add the extra 180, just add the two numbers 
together and then use (280-180= 100) for my small number?

122 + 280 = 402/2 = 201 - 100 = 101
