It was the bolt on the forward part of the knuckle.  It's snug up  
against the stock exhaust pipe, and last time I did this trick it took  
me nearly an hour to get that mounted again.  This time I looked for  
alternatives ;-)

...I'm guessing you don't have the stock header.
