1st Gen front plug not firing

You could also have some cruft on the front plug due to water/mud/etc build up. Have you tried pulling out the front cable and making sure there's no junk in there? Use a cigar filter on the blow hole on the side to clean that out. A surprising little amount can cause an outage.

Google "sv650 one cylinder rain" for all the reports of this problem.

Right now the front cylinder spark plug is not firing on 1st Gen SV. It started out as a high speed miss then got worse as I went out in additional sessions. Since there's no spark with a new plug too, but the rear plug is fine and it runs on 1 cylinder, I'm assuming it's the front coil. Is this a safe assumption?
