weird highbeam problem

Eh? Do you mean the socket the bulbs screw into? I actually swapped the entire front light piece a while back with the fixture off my '02 with no change. The only part which remained the same was the wire and 3-prong black socket that attaches to the back of the light fixture. That would imply that it's in the wires between the switch (tested below) and that 3-prong plug, right?
Or am I thinking about this all wrong?
