[Tanx] Sad but true

A few years ago I was in a job interview. The guy was sort of fishing
around for my age but couldn't ask directly. I had gone back to UConn to
get my degree in '92 so it implied that I was much younger than I really
was.

I finally leaned over and said, "You're trying to guess my age. Let me just
say that I'm closer to 50 than I am to 20 and let it go at that!" He smiled
and assured me that it wasn't a problem.

Of course, I was 68 at the time so my observation was technically true. I
got the job.

I'm now 76 and still out riding dirt and street bikes. *You don't stop
riding bikes because you get old, you get old because you stop riding
bikes!*
