Bikes Owned: 10
Accessories: Napoleon Bar End Mirror, Corbin Gunfighter saddle, Ventura Bike Pack System, Eclipse Expandable Tanktote Tank Bag, Avocet 35 bicycle computer, Lochhart 1/2 Tank Top, Kimpex Grip Heaters, Pro Grip gel grips, 2UR Windscreen.
Modifications: Kevlar front brake line, Race Tech Emulators, Speed Bleeders, Lindemann - modified stock shock, Uni Pod filters, K&N Crankcase breather, Factory Config. 3.0 Ti jet kit, Factory +4 deg timing advance rotor, Lockhart fuel line quick disconnect, Muzzy slip - on exhaust, bobbed rear fender with custom license plate mount, lens cut in bottom of taillight for plate illumination.
Problems: None with the Hawk. The only mod above I can't readily recommend is the ignition advancer. I haven't dyno'd it, seat of the pants is inconclusive, so the jury is still out. But Kevin Cameron and Gordon Jennings both said they're worthless. Who's going to argue with that!
Comments:
That a thirteen year old design can, with a few easy modifications, still look as current and perform as well as the Hawk does, speaks volumes of the quality of it's original engineering.

JH2RC3103KM102765:
Red 1989 NT 650 (Updated: 2001.1.25)
Purchased: October, 2000
Usage: 26,842 miles, Street/Sport.
Tires: stock Dunlops, from Honda
Owner: Christopher Carver
Email to Christopher Carver
Location: USA (SouthWest) -- Abilene, TX
Experience: Three years riding a motorcycle exclusively, at about 30K miles per year. I'm currently training to become a MSF instructor.
Bikes Owned: six
Accessories: Two Brothers exhaust system, with aluminum right-exit muffler. I've also installed a set of Hot Grips, which I love to death--don't know how I've been riding without them! Everything else is bone stock.
Modifications: Just the exhaust.
Problems: She's a bitch to cold start, but I've never had a no-start. Once or twice she cut out at 5K RPM in fifth gear--pulled over, started right back up, and the problem went away. I think it was that infamous connector behind the right frame rail, because when I snugged it up the problem seemed to go away. The range lacks something serious to be desired, especially considering the amount of milage I put on this bike touring.
Comments:
She's a blast to ride--I've always, always wanted a Honda Hawk, and now I have one. She's everything I expected! I'm considering a jet kit, though, to try and alleviate the blued pipes and cold starting reluctance.
For Sale: No way in hell!!

Bikes Owned: 14--I think
Accessories: Corbin seat, Sportshield
Modifications: Cases, forks, and brackets polished, otherwise completely original
Problems: None, and my brother, who owned it before me (since 2K miles) has had none either.
Comments:
I've wanted a Hawk for a long time, in fact, since the first time I rode one, and when this cherry stocker came along, I jumped at it. Previous owner is already sorry he sold it. Handles as well as anything I've ever ridden. Most fun I've had since the Dunstall/Norton.
For Sale: Not on your life! I'm looking for goodies, however; upper fairing, compatible bags, possibly a pipe.
