On April 29th 1999, my bike was stolen from the parking lot at 1550 Ampere in Boucherville, Quebec. I had just finished paying it off 1 week before. I have never bought any stolen parts for my bike and I ride with friends that would never do so either. If everyone had this mentality, I might still have my bike today.... so if any of you have friends (or enemies) that do this.... please tell them to think of the owner of the bike, and how it must be frustrating to walk out of your office building at lunch time and NOT SEE YOUR BIKE..... | Problems: Gear change sticky and hard to find neutral.. The dealer says "There all like that sir". Also i'm now starting to get lots of false neutrals. I enjoy the top end power rush, but the rear suspension damping cannot cope with getting the power down. Tried various setups but the rear can still step out unpredictably under power, meaning i'm last out of bends behind lower powered bikes! Also the forks are too soft, tried heavier grade oil but still find them wallowy. | |||

I'm forced to use my ZX9R for touring-sports (NOT Sports-Touring!). The finish is already going in places (fork legs, tank & all the mases of black painted stuff). Bike feels lardy. The specs say 'superbike' but the reality is dissapointing. Regrets? Should have bought Kwacka Green as I'm getting bored of the all blue look and the graphics are only stickers are starting to peel after using spray cleaner.

Great bike! New tires gave it new life. Superb handling. Very stable: no need for steering damper. Complains: rather noisy engine (metalic noise). In Brazil we have to feed it with gasohol. The alcohol ruins the rubbers in the gas pump in every 18 month. Kawasaky should solve this problem.
