gas cap

Last night I blew air through the both hoses and the air came out the other side on both. Not just the other side of the hoses, but the other end of the tank, i.e. the overflow hole near the gas cap and the vent hole. So I know there's no obstruction. If there were no chance of it happening, why would they put a rubber seal in the key mechanism to keep gas out? The cap has little internal passageways going through it for pressure relief (I assume). I saw those when I took it apart. Anyway, my hoses and the parts of the tank where they are connected are not blocked.

through the keyhole, IMO. Maybe there's an obstruction in the internal
molded-in portion of the tank vent. Or doesn't the GPz have that? I
can't remember...
