FJR 1300 AE (NGPZC, BTW)

Dave D., thanks for the "forum educated" vote of confidence.  I have only
recently considered the AE and have not been following the FJR boards at
all.  Scapp & Bob, thanks for the push.  The seller accepted my offer of
$10200 today and I hope to pick it up in the next day or two!

As far as low-speed "clutchiness," that was the primary focus of my test
ride as the reviews I've read of it are skeptical as well (hadn't seen the
Cycle Canada test, thanks Jim).  I accomplished several "stop & crawl
u-turns" and parking maneuvers with ease by gently feathering the throttle
into the clutch's friction zone where it would begin to pull the bike
forward.  Then just roll it back off and the clutch engages again, keeping
things slow and steady... roll back on a little, steady throttle, roll it
off...  It's pretty smooth.

This is going to be fun!  I'll let y'all know how it goes...
