fork bushings?

(Teflon like coating warn off off showing brass on most forks), which
you probably will, you will be glad that you have new ones on hand."

He is familiar primarily with dirtbikes... but his comment made me
wonder if the GPz's forks have this coating... anyone replace fork
bushings? Are the new bushings brass/bronze colored or are they coated
with something?
