By the way, if you want to call them yourself, the number is 740-374-8481.

I called EconoLodge and talked to the guy at the desk. He said there is a Bar and Grill next door. Holiday Inn has a restaurant across the street. There's a Chinese restaurant within walking distance. There's a Walmart close enough to walk. There's also a McDonald's within walking distance.

He said their normal weekend rate is $60 a night for two adults, but if we are renting like 4 or 5 rooms at once, the manager might give us a break on the price. I would have to call back and talk to him though, and he won't be there tomorrow. No problem.

Anyway, it sounds like there's enough things to walk to. But if you want a fancy meal, you might have to drive into downtown Marietta. Might be fun anyway.

I haven't heard back from Sir Don French so I don't know if he'll come. I'm kind of doubting it, but who knows. Don't know about Matt yet. We have a maybe from Pete. and definites from:

Beard, Daniels, Turley, Northrop, Clair, Heim
(correct me if I'm wrong on any of these)

That's at least three rooms. Don't know how you guys want to split the rooms. I figure you can work that out for yourselves.

So, what sa ye? You want me to just call and reserve 5 rooms? We don't have to pay ahead if we get there by 4:00. Otherwise, we have to reserve them on credit cards. I could put them all on my card if you want. He said so far, he only has 1 reservation for Friday and 1 reservation for Saturday, so I don't think it'll be a problem getting the rooms. We could most likely get them all in a row.

Let me know what you want

Are any of them closer to the food and drink than the others? It's nice to
put the bikes away at the end of the day and walk to the restaurant/bar.
