Choke Question

Needing the choke on at all when warm indicates something is wrong with the
mixture....

Seems like my bike surges in the 1 to 4 thousand rpm range unless I
have the choke full on even when warm. Wondering if others with 95 to 97
GPZ's can run with choke full on like mine at these rpm ranges.
Maybe it's time to clean my carbs. Plugs also have no tan or brown
color to them. It runs super from 4 grand up with the choke off of course.
