Spark Plugs?

Hello again, quick spark plug question. I am going to install new NGKCR9EK plugs. Are these the proper plugs? 1996 GPZ 1100.

It might be pretty easy to make some out of wood as we all usually have a jigsaw or such.  If you sanded them up nicely and sprayed them black you probably wouldn't notice they weren't metal and would weigh less as well.  Just a thought....
