Alps in Mai

I'm thinking about doing the http://www.grande-traversee-alpes.com
alps in Mai, probably from the 8th or 10th. I will go from the Lac
Leman down, then likely to Ardeche and back home. I might take the
tent or look for budget accomodation - if anyone wants to join in or
knows somebody who might be interested.. :)
