It's pretty awesome reading about all the guys who still have Geepers and the amazing mileage on some of them.
Pretty reassuring too, that at 35,000 miles on my ZZR I should be able to look forward to many more since the Geeper begat the ZZR.
BTW, you hi-mileage guys, any problems with timing chains?
I owned one of the original GPz's, the 1984 Ninja 900, and the timing chain was recognized as a weak area. (actually it was the automatic tensioner that was the problem).
I'm beginning to hear a suspicious little rattle on cold start ups, hence my asking.
