Fast black '96 GPz real world value?

Hi William,
Don't take this as gospel since I was trying to take advantage of the
spring frenzy when selling mine.  Unfortunately, spring hit late with rain
every 3 days easily until June and the frenzy finally hit when I'd become
desperate to get moved on. Ended up selling for $1800, with 75,000+ miles
on the Almighty Geeper. Mileage was scaring away most buyers, and I
wouldn't sell to a couple of first time riders (but I had a Tote-Goat man!
It's basically the same isn't it?).
If I'd held out until the hot weather, I expect i would have gotten more.
But Since I bought it for $2100, I figured that a loss of $300 was
acceptable for 12 years and 50,000+ miles (especially since I put more
money towards tires over those 12 years than I payed for it in the first
place...)
