Micapeak change of Spam filtering provider

Dear Micapeak e-mail user:

For the past several years, we have used a service from (first) MXLogic, 
acquired by McAfee, acquired by Intel... for filtering Spam and viruses 
out of our inbound email.  The providers of that service have decided to 
cease operation of it, effective January 17th, 2017.  They gave us 
plenty of notice; we were happy with their service.

We are changing today, in the next few hours, to a different service.  I 
hope it will provide a similar level of filtering and Spam rejection, as 
well as reliability.  As you might imagine, our mail setup and traffic 
configuration doesn't fit the typical mass models; we're not like a 
business or school with a bunch of employees or students, nor are we a 
commercial advertising sender, nor really much like a "newsletter" or 
targeted communications outfit like ConstantContact.  So there's not a 
single tailored-to-order solution for our needs. There are some 
differences in details, and a lot of features we didn't use anyway are 
no longer available, but I think it's going to work out well.

CHANGES YOU WILL NOTICE: none, I hope.
Unless you're in the habit of perusing 2nd-level SMTP headers like me, 
you might never notice a thing.

OUTGOING MAIL IS UNCHANGED.  If you send mail FROM micapeak.com, it just 
isn't related to this change.

WORST CASE: Some people will start having their mail to 
address at micapeak.com (or our other hosted domains)  rejected, with 
anything from no notice at all (silently discarded) to a notice that 
your sending domain or use is blacklisted, or the mail contains Spam or 
a virus.  Pay attention to the rejection message, check it out, and 
contact me.  If your FIRST attempt to contact me carlp at micapeak.com 
fails similarly, use one of my two outside, independent mail services 
listed below.  Let's hope that doesn't happen much at all.
