We had to stay at a different place than the San Ignacio Springs Bed & Breakfast as they didn't have room for us a day early. We stayed at a place on the main road that had nice new beds and pillows. It also had a funky resturant which they opened for us, and where we had one of the best meals we enjoyed in Mexico.
Phil had biztek ranchero which was wonderful, and Debb and I had something that tasted like abalone but was probably the larger of the 5 varieties of scallops they have in Baja. Prepared al mojo de ajo (with garlic and butter) and to-die-for good! Yum!
The photo above was the view across the road (Hwy 1) in the morning as the fog was lifting, revealing a mountain range a section at a time.
