The coils on my first bike must be after-market, that's why I was confused.
These are "Just like in the manual" !!
I need those anti-stupid pills or a good nights sleep.

yup, they are different shorter springs for sure. This explains why this
bike ran like a raped ape. Where do I get stock springs,
I'll steal from bike 1 for the springs for now.

The 2nd picture shows some kind of after-market coils. WTF?
Anybody know these coils? Is there anything on this bike right?
I think a terrorist did this to make weapons of mass destruction.

so, compare the diaphragm springs to the stock ones. If they're shorter
than stock they are NFG. These kits are notorious for an off-idle bog
if you use their springs. Replacing with the stock springs solves the
problem.
