Hi everyone,

My name is John and I'm 32 from Kent, OH. My brother gave me a 1984 GPZ1100 last year. It's bored over with larger mikuni's than the carberated models I know of. (most were fuel injected right?) I've been riding it as much as I could until the oil leak became too much to bear. It's coming out of the alternator cover area. I've pulled off the cover and tried to remove the rotor from the shaft as the clymer book states. The shaft required should be M18x1.5 if anyone cares. I can't get the rotor off. It should be a taperlock but I was wondering if it could be threaded.

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas where the oil is most likely coming from under the cover that would be great.

I also need to know how to get off the rotor.

I'm also going to need a new rotor since I slipped and broke off a piece of the magnet. I've seen some cheap replacement mods on another site that say they work better than the original.

Just looking for more input...

Thanks
