I purchased the gpz1100 fork brace from www.murphskits.com couple years ago.
I installed the brace, went for a ride and did not like the feel. I took
the brace off that same day and have had it in a box in my garage. I found
it today when cleaning up and thought maybe somebody on the list would be
interested.
$70.00 or best offer...
I can send pictures of the brace to anybody that is interested. I have the
brace, instructions, and the fork guards that attach to the brace.

In case anyone needs to change out your dash lights - here is what blue LEDs look like:

Not quite as bright as in the picture. I had a couple of the lights out and changed out the incandescent bulbs to all LEDs a few years ago. There's a Concours web page that tells what kind of LEDs you need. They're readily available. All you need is clears to replace all the dummy lights, blinkers, etc. I bought blue ones to see what they would look like and I think they look pretty cool!

As a FYI for you, or any takers; the brace is rather particular about
how it's mounted. I got mine about right on the second try with low to
moderate amounts of swearing, finally getting the right shims in. That
said, correctly mounted, it works like a charm. The bike feels more
stable up front, more confident somehow.

I agree with Jerry. I miss the GPZ a little, but the ZX12R has spoiled
me. The GPZ would feel like a CB350 now.

I traded for a DR650 and had lots of fun riding off road last year (I think
there's more unpaved roads than paved in this state). But, I can't handle
400 mile days several days in a row on the thumper. And, I've got touring
plans for this year. I already know all the idiosyncrasies of the GPZ and
it's as comfortable as any bike for me (at least for the money).

I replaced all of my dashboard lights last winter with LEDs - not blue
but white, i.e. they produce a cold, clear and kind of bluish light. I
don't have a picture of neither the LED's nor the dashboard but I was
pretty satisfied with the lights until they started burning out. LED's
shouldn't do that, but maybe they were made in China...;-) However, if
you can find some that will last I'll recommend the upgrade.
