2009 Honda DN-01

Just for fun, I stopped by Competition Accessories today and wouldn't you know it, they have a DN-01 sitting on the showroom floor. So, I sat on it. To be honest, just sitting on it and walking around looking at it, I find myself liking it. It's kind of low and sleek looking. Felt wierd not having a clutch to grab hold of though. They also had a 2000 Vmax sitting there too. So, I sat on it too. It had a Corbin seat on it and I had been wondering how Corbin dealt with the gas tank under the seat deal. They have a little flap, like the one covering where you insert the back rest, that you lift up, and there's a deep hole that you have to reach down into to unscrew the cap. I could barely get my hand in there let along turn the cap. That's really the one thing that I don't like about that bike. Anyway, I think I'll be keeping Reserection Red for a while.

I still have mine as the V-Rod isn't for everyday riding. It's got SS
lines, SS engine and fairing bolts, Muzzy advancer, fork braces, Corbin
seat, Gen-Mar Risers, heck I think I bought every accessory that was
available short of the Kawasaki saddle bags.

I've still got mine.  I finally got around to putting some SS brake lines
on
it.  Man, what a difference!  I should'a done that a long time ago.

The clock on mine is just coming up on 20K miles so it's just broken in.
I
know that's gotta be way on the low side of average, so I'm just
wondering,
how many miles do you guys have on your bikes?

The GPz is still the only bike in the garage but I'm looking for a dual
sport to park next to it.  I'd like to get something that's more dirt
than
street oriented, something like a Honda XR 650L or Suzuki DR 650.  I
don't
know which one I prefer so it'll probably just be the first one that I find
that I can steal.
