Subject: Any good mirror replacement ideas?

ello all, I have the stock mirrors on my '96 1100, I cant stand these mirrors
ue to the simple fact that I cant see very well to the sides or especially
ehind the bike while riding. Any ideas for a good replacement?? Thanks again.

That's a good idea Charles, but I think I'll try a new seal first. I'll
ook on Bike Bandit and see if the P/N's are the same and report back. By
he way, I know you had the shop jet your bike, but did they tell you what
he magic carb pieces were that they put in it?

One note. Many moons ago when I went to AMI, the professors there
aught us that leaky seals can sometimes be saved by removing the
pring on the back of the seal and exchanging it for an o-ring, one
ize fatter and one size smaller. Obviously one must be careful when
oing this and where they do it.
The same thing can be done on a new seal, especially if like Dennis's
eal it continues to happen over and over. I figure it's worth a try
f the problem persists. YMMV, and It does not always work.
One other thought, has anyone checked to see if the last year of ZX-11
or the ZZR-1200) used the same seal or if possibly Kawasaki had
pgraded it?
