Hard (impossible) to start

If you buy any ultrasonic cleaner do not put your parts to be cleaned or the
cleaning solvent directly in the tub. If you want to keep the machine
clean, only put water in the tub then place a cleaning vessel into the tub
with the cleaning solvent and the parts to be cleaned.
You need the water in the outer tub to transfer the vibration to the liquid
in the inner tub. Glass, hard plastic (nalgene) or metal inner tubs work
best at transferring the vibration.
If you do use volatile solvents (acetone, gasoline, kerosene etc) they will
evaporate quicker with the vibration so use them in a well ventilated area.

he retired.)
