Comments:
I just bought this last month. Very Powerful Motor! New Dunlop 501 tires make it feel oh so much better than the previous Metzelers, especially when initiating a turn. The Metzelers just slid way too much, both front and rear. I ride in the hills every day, the bike handles very nice. I never had any kind of fairing before, right now I'm not using the windshield since I busted it.

During my first summer riding this bike in the twisty Colorado mountains I needed better handling (too heavy). I had the front end rebuilt at 2k miles w/stronger Progressive springs and new seals, road feedback was greatly improved with a much better turn in feel and less nose dive when hard braking. Now as for the power this bike can flatten your eye retina's and still has more to offer, roll on is terrific and will deliver all the way to the triple digits without hesitation "YEE HAA". For a semi outdated bike(technologically speaking) it still has style and drew some nice comments at a recent AMA roadracing event. The FJ is an icon in the sportbike world and it is the epitomy of "Beauty and the Beast" I love the big brute!
