Autocom Pro M1 Communication system w/ custom earmold speakers. Rev Pack Excustion pack for the long trips. Valentine Radar Detector/H.A.R.D System. Aluminum luggage rack that also houses a Corbin back rest for the passenger.Highway pegs for long trips and rear bag reflectors for night riding.
Modifications: Stock & Ermax +4" screen sold and now have Rifle w/tuning block, Doug Hines Bar Risers sold & changed to Lenkeradaptors from Germany, 780 Gel Grips removed and now use 699 Gel Grips. Added Flush mount turn signals Carbon/Clears, Then went to mini arrows and now K&S Mini Wings, Second Look Seat Skins (removed), exhaust shield left side, Radiator Guard, added spacer to rear shock for additional pre-load. This spacer really worked great for my fat ass. I thought the FJR handled well before I added the shock spacer. Wow, nice difference for me. I'm 250 lbs. and the bike was designed for someone at 160 lbs. (or so I've heard). I've since upgraded to a Wilbers custom racing shock and fork springs. Added Fenda Extenda, SuperBrace & Custom Seat from Rick Mayer.
Problems: Buzziness at 4K+ RPM's has virtually disappeared at 3,000 miles. No other issues to date. The heat issue some are having is not a problem for me. The only problem I have is not getting to ride enough.
Comments:
I love the bike! The motor is awesome! Very comfortable two up and it handles great for a "Touring" bike. Most versatile bike I've ever owned. Bridgestone rear at the wearbars at 5K Front replaced at 7.5K due to cupping problem. The cupping has been consistent with every FJR I've seen using the BT020's. I've upped the pressure on the front to 40 PSI on the new 020. The cupping has been greatly reduced! I'm using Avon 45/46's now and they are wearing well and will easily surpass the BT020's for mileage."No Tick" yet. We'll see.

Accessories: added tall windshield
Modifications: none
Problems: replaced ignition switch at 16,345 miles. Replaced storage compartment on left side fairing at 21800 miles, electric latch failed. Both items were under warranty.
Comments:
The electric windshield that folds back down every time the bike is turned off is really stupid,it should stay up. The electric storage compartment that I have replaced should be key operated, needs a compartment on right side also. The saddlebags are too small, always needing key to open or close is a real pain. They need to latch from the top outside like a Kawasaki Concours which has much better bags.
