Totally boring (no problems at all) until last year when the water coolant hose under the carburetor split. Replaced all the water hoses, thermostat, and radiator cap. Occasional minor plastic body part replacements.

Pulled both heads and had all valves & seats lapped (burned one replaced), all new valve seals, gaskets, carb boots, coolant hoses and new timing belt fitted. Second fork seal at 150K miles.

Problems:
Spark Plugs have a tendency to clog up pretty quick. Had the problem twice when plug short circuited and refused to fire. Changed by mechanic who attributed it to short distance traffic riding which I'm guilty of.

Comments:
Get saddle butt and uncomfortable after only about an hours ride. Back starts to hurt as well due to upright seating position. I could go on my previous stock Kawasaki ZX9R for hrs on end w/o any body aches! For a tourer it could do with a better seat. Any ideas on aftermarket saddles?
