I was all set for the new Honda VTR with a deposit on it. But the more I learned about both bikes, the more I was sold on the TL. I have a 916 and thought the VTR would be better "all round". Changed my mind. The TL is simply a wonderful bike. Civilized, comfortable, great handling and very very fast. Makes noises more like my old VFR 750, tho. A VFR on steroids...

| Problems: Cold Running, Clutch slip at 6500rpm, High Mpg the odd stutter normal stuff Suzuki finally replaced the clutch & back torque limiter, thermostat and plugs seems to have finally cured the slip engine now runs at 63C on motorways. Still unsorted - squeeking from rear suspension | |||

If it wasn't such a brilliant bike I don't think I would have put up with the hassle. Surprisingly high quality though and much better than expected over a distance. Doesn't half need a grab rail - don't try going down too many steep hills with a large pillion!!!
