Accessories: I haven't bought any accesories for my bike. I wanted to keep it in the original condition I bought the bike in. I have been thinking of getting the bottom spoiler. I just can't seem to justify the money for it.
Problems: I currently have an oil weap out of the right side engine cover, and will try to fix the weap. If the new O ring doesn't fix it I guess I will have to bring it in to get machined.

Problems: After 10,000 hard miles the motor has droped off to 120 hp and a 10% leakdown. Time for a new motor with more power.
Comments:
Now making 136.5hp at the revlimiter. I think there is more power at 10,500 when I get there. Toqure is 79ft lbs. The bottom end give away very little and passes the stock motor at 5,500 rpm. The handling is so improved with the computrack nembers it feels like a different bike.

Modifications: Forks raised in yokes. Tech 2000 rear spring and damper Integral ride height adjuster) fitted. Running an extra 40mm of rear ride height. Much more compliant over bumps. Front forks re-built and set up for my riding style by SET UP ENGINEERING. M4 2-1 system....so much lighter, but bloody loud.
Problems: Fuel in oil.....slipping clutch......gearbox required rebuild.......oil leak from breather hole on left crankcase cover. I have now spotted cracks at the rear of the standard exhausts. Hoping to get these replaced under warranty, or maybe Suzuki will allow me to put the money towards a full system. The driveshaft bearing let go, chucking out oil and most recently, the crank let go BIG style, and I had to get a new engine. But that is all sorted now.
Comments:
It is now the bike it should have been when Suzuki released it on the public. Fireblade stable, quick steering, more powerful 916 eater. Beautiful. 55 second laps on the Brands indy circuit, and eats R1s for breakfast along the short start finish straight beacause of its ability to lay power down smoothly and get drive earlier (just after turn-in usually)

This the funnest bike I've ever owned. My last Bike was a Kawasaki ZX-7R with a highly modified ZX9 motor putting out over 160 hp at the rear tire. The bike was just the new meaning of un- balanced though. This bike here is just perfect for me though, torque of a big dirtbike and handling of an FZR.

Problems: Fork seal l/h popped day after bought £75 to fix and mech told me usd forks wear out faster- after 4000 kms yeah !.Ps seal still weeping now going back for new seal if that fails its off to those nice people at maxton.Need to get kmh clocks changed to mph clocks two firms- no names -one charges £70 and the other £95 anyone had experience of this

Korea is a very bad place to ride this motorcycle and explore even 5% of what this machine is capable of. City streets much too dangerous. Highway system is off limits to two wheeled traffic, Mountain roads are beautiful, but full of trucks, tourists, and traffic congestion of various types (tractors, buggys, pedestrians out on a Sunday stroll. If there are any other sport bike riders out there in Korea, please email me and let me know if you have found any great sportbike roads within a few hours of Seoul.

Modifications: All modfifications from Suzuki (ECU, thermostat, tank). Technoflex progressive fork springs and modified damper. Steering damper kicked off, fork 10mm down and in combination with the 180/55-17 rear tire better handling. Full power.
Problems: Water leakage out of waterpumphole, done with new seals. Engine stumbled between 3000 to 4000 rpm, engine settings modified. Too low temperature, max. 65 Degrees; temperature sensor on the left side of the watercooler gone to thermostat assy (like '99 TLS): Now the temperature is about 80 degrees.

Great bike, even with the problems at the beginning.

Modifications: Avon tires because Metzeler slip to much. Cannot get Avons to slip. Currently looking for highmount or under-the-seat exhaust and have a company (Sidekick Exhausts) attemping a design.
Problems: Clutch has started slipping on me lately. Going to try barnett springs and maybe new clutch plates. Other than can't keep the front wheel down the bike is great!
Comments:
I've just about mastered the wheelies. My average is 3/4 of a mile but I've managed to hold a wheelie up from first through fourth at just over a mile. There was a 15 foot black mark where the front tire came down at and made a loud squell but other than that is was smooth as could be.
