Tires on sale: Avon or Metzeler?

Time for a tire thread?

Motorcycle superstore is running a sale with an extra 5% through tonight.

Anyone have experience with the Avon Storm 3D or the Metzeler Roadtec Z6?

The Avons are about $304 delivered for the pair on sale, while the Metzelers are about $173 with a $50 gift card.

I really like the Avons I've had in the past (Azaros and Storms), but are they worth $175 more than the Roadtecs?
